"I've Been Laid Off Now What?"

One community college in the east is taking a new approach to helping those who've been laid off during these tough economic times.

Craven Community College is offering a free class is in New Bern called, "I've been laid off, now what?"

About six people are currently in the class and instructors at the college hope it will grow. Officials say it provides recently laid off workers with a variety of resources to find a new job.

One student in the class says the resources have helped him so much he has a job interview Friday.

What next??? Look for a job! Companies know that with the higher unemployment better people are now available. Get out there you'll be surprised what you'll find.
