2 Injured In New Bern Hit And Run

New Bern Police say a grandfather and grandson were hit by a car Friday night and the driver took off.

New Bern Police have not released the names of the victims hit on the 2000 block of Glenburnie Road shortly after 8:00 p.m. Friday. Police say it was foggy, so the 2 victims could not be airlifted to the hospital. They were taken by ambulance to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
The victims injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Police say the suspect's vehicle is a dark color sedan.
