Police say two people were injured, one who is at a burn center, after a suspicious fire late Saturday night.
Morehead City police say the 11:45 p.m. fire at the Willis Mobile Home Park on Bridges Street destroyed the mobile home.
The homeowner cut his arm while trying to escape through a window, while the man's estranged wife had second degree burns on her hands. She was taken to the Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill for treatment of burns and smoke inhalation.
The SBI is bringing in an arson dog to help with the investigation. Police say there is conflicting evidence as to where the fire actually began.
