Some Pamlico Sound Ferry Departures Canceled Sunday

Due to a problem with one of its vessels, the N.C. Department of Transportation Ferry Division has canceled several departures on the Pamlico Sound routes Sunday.

The following departures will not take place Sunday: The 7 a.m. run from Swan Quarter to Ocracoke; The 10 a.m. run from Ocracoke to Cedar Island; The 1 p.m. from Cedar Island to Ocracoke; and The 4 p.m. run from Ocracoke to Swan Quarter.

If you have a reservation, call 800-BY-FERRY (293-3779), press 2 to reschedule.

For further information, call Ocracoke at (252) 928-1665, Swan Quarter at (252) 926-6021 or Cedar Island at (252) 225-7411.
