Days after a shed fire claimed two lives in Morehead City are cracking down on living conditions in the mobile home park where the fire occurred.
Building inspectors in Morehead City have been visiting the Willis Mobile Home Park off of Bridges street since Tuesday, finding at least a dozen homes and sheds unsafe to live in.
Now organizations like the Salvation Army and Family Promise are stepping in to try to help people who may become displaced.
Many are Hispanic and we're told didn't understand what's going on because of the language barrier.
