12:40 a.m. update:
Carteret County Russell Overman: Crews have been out assessing damage. Besides Ocean Sands condos, no other injuries reported. Extensive tree damage around community college and hospital. Minor building damage at Carteret General, but the hospital is fully open. Some minor damage to Civic Center.
Ocean Sands condominiums manager Robert Allsbrook says there is damage to 2 of 4 buildings. He says the top is gone on one, and half of top is gone on another building. Two people injured and taken to hospital for minor injuries. 12-15 people live there and have been displaced.
Atlantic Beach Police: 2 buildings damaged at Island Beach Racquet Club. All rooms in those 2 buildings were cleared, and 3 people were evacuated and relocated.
Power is currently out from Charlotte Avenue to Lee Drive in Atlantic Beach. Progress energy is on the scene and attempting to restore power.

Tuesday 11:40 p.m. Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative says it has tree crews and line crews working to clear tree limbs at its Morehead City substation.
Power is out for about 1,500 customers in the Crab Point, Mandy Farms and Wildwood areas.
There were more scattered outages in Havelock, which have been restored, and power "blinks" in the North River area.
