Ferries running in the Pamlico Sound are not running because of high winds.
The DOT's Ferry Division says ferry routes to and from Swan Quarter and Cedar Island have been cancelled due to the high winds.
The Ferry Division is hoping that winds will subside so the afternoon runs can take place.
