A Carteret County man has been charged after police say they found a meth lab in a beach motel.
Dustin Warren of Atlantic Beach has been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine precursors.
Atlantic Beach police say the meth lab was discovered Thursday morning in a room at the Sea Shore Motel on East Fort Macon Road.
Investigators say they plan to also charge Warren with manufacturing methamphetamines, and another suspect has been identified in the case.
The SBI assisted with the cleanup of the meth lab.

Atlantic Beach Police say they were called to the Sea Shore Motel on East Fort Macon Road around 9:40 Thursday morning.
Motel Management said they found possible hazardous materials.
Inside a vacant room, police say they found materials consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to help with removal of those hazardous materials.
