A mobile home goes up in flames and now Morehead City officials are trying to figure out what started the fire.
Firefighters were called out to the single wide mobile home on 4006 Arendell Street at 8:54 a.m. Sunday. The home is in the Hills Mobile Home Park.
When firefighters got there the mobile home was engulfed in flames. It took firefighters 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
The home is a total loss. The fire was so hot it melted some siding of the home next door.
Fire officials say a man lives at the home, but he was not there at the time of the fire. No one was injured.
Officials believe the fire may have started in the living room area. They continue to investigate.
