Police say three people ended up in the hospital after a mini-van in a drive-through lane went out of control and nearly hit the fast food restaurant.
Morehead City police say a pedestrian in the Chick-fl-A parking lot was also grazed by the vehicle, but didn't require treatment.
It happened around 1:45 p.m. at the U.S. 70 restaurant.
Police believe the woman was a customer in the drive-through and somehow lost control. Her mini-van ended up striking a large pole which is there to protect the building from being hit.
Both airbags in the mini-van went off, as well as the vehicle's windshield broken by the crash.
There is no word yet on how serious the injuries were to those taken to the hospital.
