Marine Arrested After Early Morning Chase

A Cherry Point marine is facing charges after Carteret County lawmen say while on his motorcycle, he led them on a chase early Monday morning.

Lawmen arrested Brian Hodges, 25, after a short chase around 12:30 a.m. Troopers say the chase started on Highway 24 and continued onto Highway 70. Hodges dumped his bike shortly thereafter. He was arrested without incident.
