Repairs and inspections continue in the Willis Mobile Home Park in Morehead City where two homeless people died in shed fires.
So far there have been 70 homes inspected by Carteret County officials, 29 of those homes have passed inspection or repairs have been made. There are 41 homes that still need to be repaired, out of those 20 are owner occupied and 21 are rentals. Owners have 30 days to make repairs, after they receive their notice of hearing.
So far no one has been removed from any of the homes. Volunteers have been in the park helping homeowners with some of the repairs this week.
