High School In Carteret County Vandalized

The investigation continues this morning into 30 high school students who vandalized someone else's high school.

Croatan High School in Newport is still cleaning up from the $6,500 in vandalism damage from last weekend, according to the Carteret County News Times. Lawmen say 30 West Carteret High School seniors are responsible, and they've been notifying parents about the charges against their children.

The paper reports the students threw eggs at buildings, wrote on sidewalks and buildings with chalks, put plastic forks and sardines on the football field and used plastic cups to spell an obscene word on a fence.
