Flounder Fling A Big Hit At NCSF

The Flounder Fling continued to be one of the most popular of waterfront attractions at the North Carolina Seafood Festival this year and some familiar WITN faces participated in the event.

The rules are fairly simple; toss the flounder a couple of yards away into a frying pan. If you make it in the pan two out of three times then you are a winner!

WITN Sunrise Anchor Heather King tossed the flounder into the pan and won! She made it in two for two. Check out the video to see her pucker up and give that flounder a kiss before she flings the fish!

WITN Reporter Clayton Bauman also participated in the Flounder Fling and made it in two for two.

Starving people in the USA and around the world who would give dearly for something to eat and yet some find it acceptable to toss it around and play games with it. Wasteful ingrates.

This is insulting to one of God's creatures. I think it is just wrong to use a recently deal creature in a game like this. Either let them live, or use them properly to feed hungry people. This is just wrong, not funny, and we should speak up when we see something that is wrong.

That is good food they are throwing around. Waters are being over fished to the point that there one day will be no more fish, there are people that are going without food and they are playing games with it. What a waste.

Is it the message we get,,,,:that animals are so worthless that we can waste them just to play games with their dead carcass??!!
