Divers Rescued Off The Coast Of Beaufort

Four divers had to be rescued Sunday afternoon after they were separated from their boat about 10 miles off the coast of Beaufort.

Around 4:30 p.m. a crew member aboard the Sand Tiger called the Coast Guard saying come divers were missing. Bridge watchstanders overheard the distress call and went to help. Within 20 minutes they had recovered two of the divers about a half mile from their boat.

Someone aboard another boat helped in the search and recovered two more divers.
