A man is in trouble with the law after admitting he exposed himself to three woman and an 11-year-old girl on an Eastern Carolina highway this week.
Emmanuel Padilla-Barajas is charged with three misdemeanor indecent exposure counts and one felony indecent exposure charge. Carteret County deputies say the felony charge came about because the victim was so young.
Deputies say the 21-year-old Newport man was using a borrowed vehicle, driving up and down Highway 24 between Newport and Morehead City and exposing himself. They all happened on Monday and Tuesday and deputies say the final victim was able to give them the license plate of the car.
A news release says Padilla-Barajas confessed to deputies and was jailed on a $10,000 bond.
