Biker Seriously Injuried After Rear-Ending R.V.
A man was seriously injured after police say his motorcycle rear-ended a recreational vehicle that was making a turn.
Newport police say John Brown was airlifted to Vidant Medial Center with serious traumatic injuries.
The recreational vehicle, driven by 76-year-old John Markham, was on U.S. 70, just north of the Newport River Shoppes, when the motorcycle hit. The accident happened just before 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
The RV had damage to its rear while no charges have been filed in the crash.
