A Carteret County bridge that links two coastal towns could have some back ups for the remainder of the week.
The Highway 70 bridge over the intercoastal waterway between Morehead City and Beaufort will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day beginning on Wednesday through Saturday, weather permitting.
The work is part of the DOT's plans to repaint the bridge.
