A Carteret County man with a history of driving drunk will spend the next few years behind bars for repeatedly driving while impaired.
District Attorney Scott Thomas said 30-year-old Casey Orr of Newport was sentenced to court Monday, after pleading guilty to two counts of Habitual Driving While Impaired.
Thomas said Orr was previously arrested in April 2013 with a blood-alcohol level of 0.11. Orr was arrested once again in October with a blood-alcohol level of 0.17.
Thomas said Orr also has previous convictions for DWI in Iredell, Onslow, and Carteret Counties.
