The search is on for a man wanted for assaulting a woman at gunpoint what deputies say was a domestic dispute at his home Sunday.
22-year-old Clyde Johnson Jr. of Merrimon road in Beaufort in Carteret County is wanted for assault on a woman by pointing a gun, strangulation, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. The Carteret County Sheriff's Office says Johnson is 5'9" and weighs 150 pounds.
