Cape Lookout Lighthouse Opens For Summer

If your holiday weekend travels take you to the Crystal Coast, you may want to stop by the Cape Lookout lighthouse. The Carteret County tourist attraction is now open to the public.

The lighthouse is open Thursdays-Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In case you do not make it to the beach this weekend, the Cape Lookout lighthouse will be open now until the end of September

Correction! Cape Lookout is NOT located in the town of Oriental. Cape Lookout is off the shore of Harker's Island, NC. And just to let everyone know, you can only get to Cape Lookout by boat. There are ferries available on the Beaufort waterfront. Everyone be safe this Memorial Day Weekend!
