There was a sea of green in Emerald Isle Saturday afternoon as thousands celebrated St. Patrick's day at the Festival there.
Big crowds enjoyed the food, music, arts and crafts, and a lot of other family oriented activities. There was also bagpipers and a beer garden.
Our own Dave Jordan emceed the Little Miss and Mr. Leprechaun contest at the festival. There were 21 contestants ages 2 through 5. Each participant was judged on the originality and creativity of their costumer and overall stage presentation.
