A couple had to be rescued from the Bogue Sound Thursday morning after their boat capsized.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. just in front of the Division of Marine Fisheries dock. A man and a woman were on the 14-foot sailboat out enjoying the day when strong current and winds capsized their boat as they were attempting to make a turn.
The boat ran into the Marine Fisheries dock, and employees then heard the two people yelling for help. The couple was not hurt and the boat was towed to shore.
