Family Offers Reward For Recovery Of Missing Boater's Body

The family of a missing Morehead City man is offering a reward for the recovery of his body.

The fiancee of Kim Nguyen says the family will offer a reward of "$10,000 and up" if the missing boater's body is recovered. The Morehead City man was scheduled to get married on May 30th.

Nguyen, and his brother Bao, along with friend Jimmy Nguyen of Raleigh, were on a 31-foot Fountain powerboat out in the Atlantic last Monday when the family says it began sinking. The boat capsized, with the three men hanging on.

Bao Nguyen told rescuers the other two men passed out at some point and drifted away. He was released from Pitt County Memorial Hospital Sunday evening and continues his recovery at home.

I am sadden by the recent accident that happened on may 10th 2010. I wake up everyday hoping that this tragic event is only a nitemare, Although I didnt noe Jimmy I feel as tho he and i would have been good friends because we both share something in common, we both love to play poker. With kim and bao, I knew them both, not as well as i had hoped but enough to noe they were great individuals, the many times i spent at Kim's home i will never forget, he always made me feel at home, i dont noe if he did that to make me play real bad poker but win or lose i always felt he was genuine and thats what i will miss the most...i will miss u dearly.....

B,..WITN says Fountain because Fountain not only has its headquarters here in easten N.C. but Fountain is a prestigious offshore boat. With a vessel like that its surely going to have alot of anglers and the coast guard asking questions on how, what and why caused this accident.
