NWS: "Get Ready For Wild Weather This Spring"

While storms pounded parts of Western North Carolina and South Carolina, we dodged a bit of a bullet here in the East.

On the heels of an announcement about an active hurricane season, officials with the National Weather Service expect it to be a pretty active spring when relating to severe weather.

They say the quick shift from a cold winter to a hot spring has increased the threat of thunderstorm and even tornadic activity.

The National Weather Service will hold an open house this weekend in Newport and everyone is invited.

Thank you, "concerned". I agree. If our country was a Godly nation, we wouldn't have made the choices we did in Nov. 2008. The "wild weather" is just the beginning!

It wouldn't surprise me if we did with the way Americe is wandering further away from God .Maybe this will be a wake up call for Christians to remember God when voting and not be so concerned of the Economy rather than Values voting.Look at other Countries as an Example.

God has HIS plans. Only God knows the future. However I can say this one thing,History shows us that countries that are not Christian and dont allow Christians to practice their beleif, and who elect ungodly people into Government ,have a tract record of many Acts Of God like major earthquakes, tsunamies, volcanoes, floods, etc.

BoBo, my prediction; rain, wind, cold, warm, then turning to cold rain, to warm rain, the sun comes up, then goes down...you feeling me? Temps in the 90s throughout the summer with scattered rain and downpours...then it will be dry...my dog will get some relief and come back in to sleep on her bed....I'll fix the toilet valve, so I won't have to jiggle it...no more. Then, my dog will go out in the rain, wee on my liberal neighbors leg, once more...and it will be good! Then it will be cold and raining followed by...real cold. OK, how'd I do? How about, due to global warming, I will have to work more hours and post less to pay from my heating oil from last year. Good thing, AC isn't as expensive as the oil I use in my furnace. Gosh, revelaton; my heating bill has been higher every year over the past...15 years. Wow, that global warming is causing me to use a lot of heat. I am sure this will be the worst year....but I am not sure if they are right...last year..year before. Great point!

It may be active but if they would not start every years saying this year will be the worst ever, perhaps people would listen.
