A restaurant has been temporarily closed after a fire Wednesday morning.
Fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. at the Golden Corral on U.S. 70 in Morehead City.
The fire chief says it appears a commercial refrigerator caught fire. Fortunately, the chief says, two employees were in the building and alerted the fire department so the fire was not able to spread.
The health department is at the restaurant and is expected to give the okay for it to reopen later today.
