Arrest In Pharmacy Robberies

A suspect wanted for pharmacy break-ins in several counties has been arrested.

Police tell WITN that 23 year-old Ryan Vervisch of Winterville is in custody. They believe he's responsible for multiple break-ins in Winterville, Ayden, Newport, and the Greenville area.

Vervisch is accused of breaking into the Medical Park Pharmacy in Winterville multiple times and Edwards Pharmacy.

Police say he had 536 pills of hydrocodone in his possession when he was arrested.

Vervisch faces many charges-- including breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, larceny, and trafficking opiates with more charges possible.
