Store Owners Charged With Selling Liquor & Tobacco To Minors

After a two month campaign by police, two store owners have been charged with selling alcohol and tobacco to minors.

Saima Sheikh was charged with four counts of illegal sales of alcohol to minors and four counts of illegal sales of tobacco to minors. Masood Sheikh was charged with one count of illegal sale of alcohol to minors and one count of illegal sales of tobacco to minors. The two own M&S Convenience Store on Lennoxville Road in Beaufort.

Beaufort police say over a two month period detectives conducted surveillance and used informants to purchase alcohol and tobacco products. They say M&S was the only store that sold the products to minors.

Police say they'll continue to randomly check for violations at all establishments in Beaufort which sell alcohol and tobacco products.

Kids had been buying alcohol and tobacco here for years before this; pretty much ever since these two took over the store. I'm surprised these arrests weren't made about five years ago. Nice to see some proactive police work. Way to go!

Yet nobody arrested them kids for buying the stuff. These people are just tryin' to stay afloat in an Obamaconomy. Jail them kids and their parents for letting them buy smokes and beer. Thats what the law should be. Jail them kids. Ain't up to no good anyway.

To Wow, I guess you area big bleeding heart liberal who loves these terrorist backing store owners who break the laws! I happen to have a lot of friends who are from the middle east and they do not break the laws. As far as myself living in a trailer park I guess We will see you on the Jerry Springer show to because you just might live next to me in the trailer park in your mind. I own my own home, I worked hard for it and I pay taxes . But it is ok you go back and enjoy your O Bama Kool aid and your stimulus money that my tax dollars paid you. Enjoy because when the repubs take back the White House and the Congress and the Senate you will no longer get your free Kool Aid and Trailer Park Vouchers to live on ! Have a great day WOW!
