It's a story a lot of people are talking about. The killer whale at Sea World in Orlando, Florida is blamed in the death of a trainer. One of the big questions is what should happen to the whale?
People across eastern Carolina have varying opinions. We found Peggy Loelkes and Dick Pauly walking along the beach in Carteret County Thursday. Both think the whale should be euthanized. Loelkes says "It's a killer, and it could've hurt a child, or besides the trainer it could've hurt anybody."
But as the investigation into why the whale, who's now blamed for three deaths, did this...some we spoke with feel the killer whale was only acting as any wild animal would. Karen Pecoraro Russell says, "It's just a natural kind of thing for them to want to attack something that they think is, maybe they're in fear."
Sea World officials have not said yet what will happen to the whale.
