A commercial fisherman spent the night at sea because of a safety perimeter set up around the state port in Morehead City following the spill of the explosive substance PETN.
Wade Bailey anchored his boat at sea Tuesday night. Bailey says, "We have a propane stove on there but for safety reasons we don't heat with that or go to bed with that on, you know we just cook on it. You know if we're up we can heat the cabin a little bit here when we need it, and did, but once we shut it down and went to bed, it was not hot I'll tell you that."
This isn't the first time Bailey has had run into trouble at sea. Last year his boat caught fire off the coast near Wilmington.
