Two small accidents created major traffic back-ups on a bridge in the East Wednesday night.
Morehead City Police say the wrecks on the Highway 70 bridge going to Beaufort happened around 9:30 p.m., but traffic backed up for more than 40 minutes. Police say a van was rear ended when it slowed down for a person changing a tire, and then the van was hit again when it was pushed into oncoming traffic.
Police say no one was hurt seriously, and no one is facing charges.
