The beaches along the Crystal Coast were fairly crowded Wednesday, but it could be a completely different scene in just a few days.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the current track has Tropical Storm Danny moving to the north-northwest by Friday night into Saturday morning. It could strengthen into a hurricane. Whether it impacts the coast or stays out to sea is still unknown.
While emergency management officials say they would like to have more time to prepare, they say they're all systems go in case the storm collides with our coast.
The current track has the storm missing our coast by about a hundred miles, but forecasters warn that any slight change could land it along our beaches.
