A Down East man is under arrest after deputies say he shot into his brother's home.
Danny Sparks of Stacy is in jail on a $50,000 bond after being charged with one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied property.
Deputies say is happened early Tuesday morning. They received a 911 call from Sparks' younger brother who lives next door. The brother told deputies that Sparks became angry when the brother refused to drive a third person home at 4:00 a.m.
According to deputies Sparks was allegedly intoxicated when he fired two rounds which entered the kitchen area of the home. No one was struck during the shooting.
