Tropical storm Earl has left the area and has moved into Canada this evening. While the storm will be moving out, rip currents will be particularly strong due to Earl's effects.
Wave action should subside along our beaches tonight into Sunday.
The Rest Of The Tropics:
In the deep Atlantic, Tropical Storm Gaston degenerated into a remnant low. The system has become better organized Saturday morning and could become a depression again over the weekend.
When you get to the hurricane page, click on the storm's name to see the latest track. You can also turn on a cool feature by clicking forecast models "on" in the right hand corner of the map to see how the different models are forecasting the storm's path.
