Windsor Continues To Recover From Storm Damage

The town of Windsor in Bertie County probably doesn't like hearing about the possibility of more hurricanes this now now that they just got done fixing up town hall from storm damage.

First it was Hurricane Floyd in 1999, then floods from Tropical Storm Nicole in 2010. All of that did severe damage to the building.

In the past couple months town hall re-opened, and now the crowning touch: dedicating the commissioners room to their former mayor, Robert Spivey.

Next on tap for Windsor is a new drainage system to help make sure they don't suffer the way they have from severe flooding in the past.
