A local teen will be laid to rest this weekend after he was shot and killed May 23rd.
The wake for 19-year-old Timothy Baylor III of Windsor in Bertie County will be held Saturday night at Cherry's Funeral Home from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. His funeral will be held at 2 p.m Sunday.
Williamston Police and the SBI are asking anyone with information about the shooting that killed Baylor to call Martin County Crime Stoppers.
A Bertie County teenager is dead after police in Martin County say he was shot.
The Williamston Police Department says that it responded to the 200 block of Martin Street around 9:40 Friday night. Once there, officers say they found 19-year-old Timothy Baylor III of Windsor suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Baylor was taken to Martin General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials say that the State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case.
