Hundreds if not thousands of little frogs have invaded one Martin County neighborhood and residents don't know how to get rid of them.
The tree frogs started showing up about a week ago in the neighborhood off Highway 64, east of Williamston. The little creatures have congregated at some 10 to 15 homes, with the frogs making their way inside some houses.
One resident says she's lived there for seven years and has never seen anything like this. The residents called an exterminator who said there was nothing he could do.
Neighbors say the only thing they can think is a nearby pond was drained last summer that might have prompted the tree frogs to come and visit them.
