Arrest records show the 18-year-old wanted in connection with shooting into a home in late January is now in custody, out of state.
Williamston Police said they were looking for Taylor Everett in connection with a January 29th drive-by shooting. Police said Everett's sister, one-year-old nephew, and another teen were in the home at the time.
Investigators said one-year-old Thomas Goddard III, along with his mother, Charisma Smith, and 17-year-old Treante Howard were wounded from the gunfire into a home on on North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Williamston.
Police in Williamston said he was picked up by law enforcement at his sister's home in Dover, Delaware on felony warrants. Investigators said the same sister Everett is accused of shooting was the woman harboring him.
Police said he will be facing three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury once he is extradited back to North Carolina.
Everett has an April 10th court date in Martin County for discharging a firearm in the city and going armed to the terror of the people.
Investigators said police in Dover also arrested Charisma Smith and Roshanda Smith. The two are charged felony hindering prosecution.
