Robersonville Woman Charged In July 4 Stabbing

A Robersonville woman is behind bars in Pitt County, charged with attempting to kill a man by stabbing him.

Police say they served a warrant on 27-year-old Sherina Barnes from the Martin County town of Robersonville Thursday. The warrant said she was wanted for the July 4 stabbing of Telvecchio Arrington.

Barnes' bond was set at $25,000. She's charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Arrington is also currently behind bars in the Pitt County Detention Center, facing six counts of nonsupport of a child. He was booked into the jail last Thursday. Arrington's bond is set at $38,525.88.
