Five men are behind bars after lawmen say they beat two victims and left them for dead during an armed robbery.
It happened in the area of St. Andrew's Street and Main Street in Jamesville in Martin County.
The victims say a group of men approched them, some of them armed, and demanded money last week.
One of the victims was pistol whipped in the back of the head and the other had minor injuries. Both were treated and released from the hospital.
All five suspects, Dequan Daniels, Curtis Moore, Jonte Rouson, Tommy Ward and Avery Williams, are being held in jail with a $250,000 bond each.
