This man went to work everyday as he was suppose to. He didn't stand on street corners with nothing to do. A bad situation for ones involved but he had alot going for him.

I work in Williamston and I am so tired of seeing people just standing on the streets...no matter what time of day. And then you see a car drive up, make a short stop, and then go on its way...Wonder what they were doing? You know as well as I do. Neighborhoods that were once nice are being overrun & its like a street corner serenade.. only it's a serenade you don't want.

Its not really hopeless but I agree with you. Its going on in every small town and its seems that those in charge are too busy to stop and take a look at the problems starting with the "clearing off" our street corners! I hear WPD is getting rid of it's well qualified and experined officers so it could get worse for you in Williamston.

The beat goes on in this cultural cesspool. What in God's name happened to the center of all human existence, Williamston NC. We have become thug central. No wonder so many of the law abiding people have moved out of here. Block by block, this little town is being blighted by a violent, lazy, shiftless sub-culture. It is hopeless. Baykha!!

Sounds like some self-inflicted praise...but thats ok and good job on the arrest. May God bless and keep all of Eastern NC's law enforcement officers safe! God bless the famlies of the fallen Memphis Tenn.officers.
