Deputies Pearson And Brown To Be Honored In Washington D.C.

Two local officers, and their families, will receive top honors in Washington D.C. for giving the ultimate sacrifice.

Deputy Allen Pearson of Lenoir County and Deputy Charlie Brown from Martin county will be placed on the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.

According to their website, the ceremony will take place during the week of May 9th, during National Police Week.

Both deputies were killed in the line of duty, Pearson died in April 2009, and Brown died in December 2009.
