Nine suspects were taken into custody in Martin County as part of a drug round-up.
The county narcotics unit has been conducting a covert narcotics operation over the past 6 months and made arrests for possession, trafficking and maintaining a dwelling to store controlled substances.
Bonds for the 9 suspects range from $5,000 to $100,000.
The following suspects were arrested as a part of this operation: 54-year-old David Hall of Robersonville, 40-year-old Deiante Goddard of Robersonville, 22-year-old Linwood Campbell Jr. Of Robersonville, 49-year-old Diane Holiday of Hamilton, 56-year-old Duane Coffield of Robersonville, 51-year-old Ricky Marshall of Hamilton, 36-year-old Alfred Perez, Jr. Of Robersonville, 29-year-old Jushua Keel of Williamston, and 55-year-old James Wilson of Williamston.
Sheriff Dan Gibbs and Williamston Police Chief Travis Cowan urge residents of Martin County and Williamston to continue to provide information related to those within the community who illegally sell and distribute controlled substances.
