More Charges Brought In Deadly New Years Eve Crash

More charges have been filed in that deadly New Years Eve crash in Martin County.

Troopers have charged Adam Holliday of Williamston with felony death by vehicle, careless and reckless driving, and violation of a provisional license. Holliday was previously charged with DWI.

Killed in the crash on Prison Camp Road was 18-year-old Dustin Snyder of Jamesville. The Highway Patrol says Holliday's vehicle went left of center and hit Synder's vehicle head on.

Trooper say the 18-year-old Holliday is a U.S. Marine and is now stationed in Jacksonville. He has not yet been served with the additional charges.

This breaks my heart to read of such tragedy. Dustin never got a fair chance at life. I never met this kid, nor do I know anything about his life. I usually don't comment in this way, but this story caught my full attention. My heart goes out to him as well as his family. As far as the Marine, he has to pay the ultimate price. How many times must one hear that you should not drink while under the influence. What is your problem? I do not beleive this was his first time ever drinking and driving. It was his first time getting caught, and unfortunately, he had to take some one elses life in the process. It is not fair. I am so sorry this happen to an innocent child. RIP Dustin (We are all sorry)

Holiday should receive a death sentence! Is that not what he gave the other young man? I'm tired of supporting muderers.

On Feb. 20th I hope all will come with open hearts and open minds and listen to the message these young people have to offer. Honor Dustin's memory. This is would have been proud of. He will be smiling down while God is leading Brian and the other young people thinking; "Give them something to believe in."

Concerning the Memorial Celebration, that would be rescheduled "due to inclimate weather". I only make the correction to keep some bozo from trying to pretend like it is funny. "member", Blake never was fit to be a Marine, he should get a discharge under less than honorable conditions and he has finally been charged with the felony count that he so richly deserves. I do not care where he is currently living, as long as he is residing in a correctional institution after his trial. THERE.

I think you need to talk to the Marines that came down here when the accident happened.I was there. He (Blake) was issued a general discharge UNTIL the trial is over and sentence is passed. He IS living with some relatives in MARTIN COUNT.....I've seen and talked to him.THERE.

Do u ppl even know what ur talking about? Who is Justin? Dustan died in the accident and Blake was in the marines not the army. As for Blake living with his grandmother(if this is who you meant) Blakes grandmother passed away 3 years ago. Also he never had a prior DWI before this and he has received a general discharge from the marines.
