I would like to extend to Charlie's family my deepest condolences. I worked with Charlie in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina and I have to say that it was an honor to do so. His professionalism and committment to helping others in need was truly amazing and inspirational. Rest in peace, Brother.

Ol' MacDonald, your sympathy message is much appreciated by everyone who knew Charlie, but H2 is a dog. He will miss his master, but he doesn't understand condolences.

Charlie was my cousin but felt like a brother. We did so many things together and those memories I'll treasure forever. I'll miss our Saturday night card games and sitting around the fire telling funny stories. Charlie's humor was just the thing you needed when you were having a bad day. Charlie would be the life of the party even if he had been out all night on a call with his job. He was there with us on sometimes only a few hours sleep but he did it anyway. That is the lesson I'm taking from his death. Make time for your family no matter what because you don't know when it may be the last. Thank you Charlie for all the good times. You are forever in our hearts.
