Chris was my neighbor didn't know him very well but I know his girlfriend and son. They would watch my son for me and my son absolutely adores Chris and Christy. He was always pleasant when speaking or holding short conversations. He was one of those people that just seemed friendly. My prayers go out to Christy and the Pumarejo family... To the commuter I completely understand your comments and the intent was clearly not to harm. God knows your heart when man doesn't understand and quite frankly who cares if they don't understand. You ended your comment with thoughts to family and right now they are the ones who matter not the co-worker.

Commuter, You were clearly sharing through kindness. I think some people just want to find fault. Naturally, even being close to an accident leaves one with empathy and you expressed that well.

The road was blocked but there was an alternate route. Martin CO. had a deputy on the north end of the accident sending south bound traffic down NC 42 west to get on US 64 east that would bring them back to NC 11 in BETHEL.Both lanes were completely blocked with emergency vehicles removing the 6 that were injured. You should always have a map in your vehicle to find an alternate route or know an alternate way. TO the family of the deceased man I am sorry for your loss.

To Commuter: you should not have to apologize to people one forums that spend all there day fishing through websites trying to find a fight to start. I stopped posting long ago...doesn't matter what you say, it WON'T be right.

No disrespect intended by my previous comment. It was simply my observation, and I certainly wasn't complaining about the traffic. By telling everyone that traffic was delayed 1 1/2 - 2 hours I was trying to give insight as to how serious the accident was. Again, I apologize to any who felt my previous comment was distasteful. My thoughts go out to the families involved...simply terrible.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all the families involved. This is a perfect example that life is sometimes cut short. Age has nothing to do with it! Everyone please watch for everyone else on the road when traveling. Live life to it's fullest, you never know wich second will be your last!

whom so ever posted the comment about being held in traffic during accident, that was not needed to know information. The family is already mourning, they don't need to know what you were doing during the accident.
