County To Vote On Sale Of Mixed Drinks

The Bertie County Commissioners approved putting the sale of mixed drinks on the ballot for this week, according to the Roanoke-Chowan News Herald.

Windsor town officials said they are losing money because of people going to towns in other counties to eat out. If Bertie County as a whole votes down the proposal, Windsor officials can move forward to try to pass the ordinance just for their town.

People are not going out of town to eat because of the mixed drink issue, they go because there are only fast food joints in town!
