For one Williamston law enforcement might not let out all of the information because they cant. then do have confidentality. And another the press does screw up everything that law enforcement says. I have seen this with my on eyes.

Anonymous from May 31 at 12:19 PM. No, they were not white. Just your standard Martin County shooting. Nothing out of the ordinary.

You are right it was the police department in this case but if you check the story on the Oak City shooting you will find that the Sheriff's Dept. has not been giving out any info- even after the dead teen was buried. There are definitely facts that could be told that actually might help them gain more info from the public. Ask Chief Knox. The shooting in Robersonville has been much better handled. I for one want some facts so I can understand WHY all of this non-sensical killing is happening here.

for one (Martin Co.) it was the police dept not the sheriffs dept. and another police just write the reports they dont have nothing to do with the press. They come to them for the information. and another thing is it was a holiday monday so ya it is going to be alittle late. so before you say anything make sure you know the facts. dont just assume. all are law enforcement in martin co. are doing the best they can with the little resources they have. Martin Co. is getting bad and its nothing but parants that cant raise there on kids the way they should be. and to kareem he should stop trying to act like his in a gang cuz what comes around goes around and maybe this has opened his eyes alittle.

To Concerned, it takes time. Have a little patience. Williamston has an excellent police department and Martin County has an excellent Sheriff's Department. Kareem, I wish you the best of luck in getting recovered man. Thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know it's a scary situation. It just seems like people can't be safe anymore when walking around at night, and that really scares me.

I made a comment on this Sunday night and it was never posted. I commented on the Oak City shooting and said another had just happened in Wmst. WITN didn't post either of my comments.

It looks like the police and sheriff's departments are controlling the news. Items like this and the shooting in Oak City are public record. Those of us who live here need to know what is going on so we can protect ourselves.

If this happened Sunday y is it just being brought to the news, today? If it had been a drug bust it would've been reported 5 mins after it happened. Come on MCSO step up2 da plate.
