WITN News has learned the name of a teenager killed late Saturday night in Oak City.
A funeral home confirms that Travonn Barnes of Greenville died in the weekend shooting in Martin County. They expect Barnes' funeral to be held Saturday, though exact arrangements are still pending.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office has refused to release the name of the murder victim, nor the name of the other teen wounded in the shooting.
A state court web site says the 18-year-old Barnes had pending charges in Martin County for robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony breaking & entering and possession of stolen goods. It lists a court date of June 10th.
The Martin County clerk's office says Barnes had an Everetts Road, Williamston address listed on court documents.
One person has died as a result of that shooting this past weekend in Oak City.
Lt. Drew Robinson tells WITN News that one of the two teens wounded in the shooting has died. Robinson would not go into any further details except to say it's now a homicide investigation.
The shooting happened Saturday night on Chestnut Street around 10:00 p.m. Saturday.

The sheriff would not go into detail only saying,"it was a gang related shooting."
Gibbs says the teens range in ages from 17 to 19. Both teens were taken to the hospital and as of Sunday morning one is on life support at Pitt County Memorial Hospital according to Gibbs.
Gibbs would not release anymore information only saying, "we are still investigating and there may be others involved."
