A woman didn't have to go far to make a claim after she crashed her car into an insurance agency's building in Beaufort County.
It happened shortly after 1:0 p.m. Friday in Washington at the Anchor Insurance Agency on Highway 17. Several employees were inside when they heard a car engine rev up. They say they knew something was wrong and jumped over the counter before the car came through the wall.
Officials say the elderly driver told them she thought she was hitting the brake pedal but was hitting the gas. The driver is a client of the business. No one was hurt.
